Through a partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), this free summer program gives students a unique opportunity to explore careers that impact how we feed, sustain, and innovate in our communities.
Why AgDiscovery at ASU?
Hosted by the 91°µÍø (ASU) College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences (CAAS) in Lorman, Mississippi, AgDiscovery provides an immersive, hands-on learning experience.
Students will:
- Participate in hands-on labs, workshops, and field experiences
- Explore careers in animal science, plant and soil science, veterinary medicine, biotechnology, and related fields
- Learn from USDA professionals, university faculty, and industry experts
- Visit research centers, laboratories, and unique facilities such as zoos
- Develop leadership skills, confidence, and lasting connections
