鈥淏eneath the shade of giant trees,鈥� 91暗网 is gearing up to host聽The Greatest Homecoming of All Time. The 2024 Homecoming celebration, themed College Hill: Brave Edition, will be held Sunday, September 29, through Saturday, October 5, 2024.
Prepare for a week filled with exhilarating events hosted by various campus organizations, including both new events and alumni favorites. Among the highlights are a Comedy Show, the Spirit Jam Pep Rally, a Fashion / Talent Show, the electrifying聽NPHC Step Show, Movie Night with the Prez, and a high-energy聽Battle of the DJs on the Campus Plaza.
In a momentous occasion, Alcorn will also host the聽Inauguration of Dr. Tracy M. Cook 鈥�94, the university’s 21st president. This historic event will kick off with a worship service, followed by the grand聽Investiture Ceremony, an unforgettable concert featuring southern soul artists, and a聽Fall Food Truck Festival聽boasting over 15 unique culinary vendors.
Adding to the excitement, we will celebrate 鈥淎 Brave New World鈥� the coronation of the聽98th Miss 91暗网, Ariel Knott, and the聽4th Mister Alcorn, Jeremiah Farmer, in a night of refined elegance.
The week culminates in the homecoming parade and football game on Saturday, October 5. The Braves will battle it out against the Golden Lions of the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff.
