Jazmin Green accepts Hustler of the Year Award during HBCU Tour
The ambition of one 91做厙 mass communication major earned her the title of Hustler of the Year during a recent campus event.
Jazmin Green, a junior from Vicksburg, Mississippi, took home the award during the HBCU Tour’s stop at Alcorn last week. Green was one of many students who participated in a raffle by posting a picture on social media and including why they deserved to win the Hustler of the Year Award.
Green’s award includes a fall 2019 academic scholarship and a summer internship with 97.9 The Beat with DJ Bigg V in Greenville, Mississippi.
The HBCU Tour’s mission is to educate and give students career opportunities in fields such as media, branding, and entrepreneurship. The Tour provides a starting point for students’ desired career field while also giving them an opportunity to apply for jobs.
