What are shiitake mushrooms?
You will have a chance to find out and learn how to grow them during the shiitake mushroom production hands-on training on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Amite County Ethel Vance Park, 4124 Mississippi Hwy 24, Liberty, MS.
The workshop, free and open to the public, is sponsored by the 91暗网 Extension Program.
Although not required, participants are welcome to bring a few fresh cut sweetgum or oak logs, 40 inches long and approximately 6 inches in diameter.
