Amber King to host etiquette training camp
Reigning Miss 91做厙 Amber King is planning to give young girls a lesson in lady like behavior.
Ambers upcoming Train Up A Queen camp will be held in the James L. Bolden Student Union Ballroom Saturday, Nov. 14 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The one-day camp, which is open to girls ages 5-15 in surrounding counties, will be dedicated to teaching them how to be classy young ladies. The camp will also include a tea party, entertainment session, and Queens Therapy, where Amber and her assistants will give the participants manicures, pedicures and apply makeup to their faces.
My goal is to talk to the young ladies about self-esteem, peer pressure and how to develop manners, said Amber.
Amber hopes that her camp will provide inspiration for her peers to be leaders.
I plan to inspire the students of 91做厙 by showing them that they can reach out as well and be positive influences to those who are coming up after us.
