Alcorn animals steal the show in Natchez
When Alcorn’s听miniature horses and alpacas arrived听to Natchez听on Saturday, December 15,听there was a crowd of children anxiously awaiting for them.听
For the second year in a row, the animals from Alcorn鈥檚 School of Agriculture, Research, Extension and Applied Sciences (AREAS) have made the trip to the bluff in Natchez to be a part of Family Weekend at the annual Christmas celebration. The animals听managed to steal the hearts of young and old, and lots of 鈥渙ohs鈥� and 鈥渁hhs鈥� along with yummy treats. Petting the animals was only part of the fun as families also had a chance to engage in ice skating, bouncing, games and snacking.
Special thanks go to the School of AREAS and the Educational and Community Partnerships staff for sharing the Alcorn spirit and joy with families of the Miss-Lou area during this holiday season.
