Facilities Management employee helps raise money for American Cancer Society
Ms. Patricia Parker, custodian in the Facilities Management Department at 91暗网, recently raised $532 for American听Cancer Society.
鈥淚 really wanted to do something to help people fight cancer”, shared Parker. 鈥淲e raised the money within the department and hope that it can help someone. Surprisingly, it wasn鈥檛 difficult to collect donations. Almost everybody whom I approached gave whatever they could because they all had a relative, a friend or a neighbor who has cancer and needs help.鈥�
鈥淚t was a wonderful effort, it shows that Ms. Parker and our department鈥檚 employees care about others and want to give back,鈥� said Galaundra Myles, administrative assistant to associate vice president for Facilities Management. 鈥淢s. Parker has been with the department for听seven years and听she has generous spirit and is听a wonderful person.鈥�
Parker added, 鈥淲e will do it again next year and do better, and raise more money to help more people.鈥�
