Alcorn Department of Education and Psychology faculty accepted into post-doctoral program 听
Dr. Tabitha Smith, assistant professor in the Department of Education and Psychology, was recently accepted in the National Director鈥檚 Credential Program, a post-doctoral program for early childhood education emphasis. The program is a comprehensive 120-hour program divided into听nine modules, and an entity of the Mississippi Child Care Resource & Referral Network (MSCCR&R) housed at Mississippi State University.
鈥淚 look forward to being a part of this intensive program that focuses on early care for children and is designed to ensure that each individual receives quality child care information,鈥� said Dr. Smith. 鈥淲hat I like about it, is that the training for educational professionals is facilitated through seminars and workshops that also engage parents, children, and the community.鈥�
