Alcorn hosts Natchez Day, local students Alcorn bound 听
April 24, 2012, was an unusually exciting day in Natchez!听 It was Alcorn Day! One of the highlights of the day was the visit by Alcorn President Dr. M. Christopher Brown II to Natchez High School.听 President Brown and others were welcomed by Natchez High Principal Cleveland Moore, Assistant Principal Roberta Phipps, and other school staff.
During the visit, students heard all about Alcorn from Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Admissions, Financial Aid,听the Office of Diversity and Equity Engagement and听the ASU Student Ambassadors.听 In his remarks to the group, President Brown encouraged the students to continue their education and to definitely consider 91暗网 as their choice for higher education.听

A group of Natchez High School students are already 鈥淎lcorn Bound鈥� and have been accepted to ASU for the upcoming summer or fall semester.听 These students are pictured with Dr. Brown, Dr. Samuel White, Provost, and other Alcorn leaders.听

From Natchez High, the听group traveled to the Natchez campus of Copiah-Lincoln Community College and was welcomed by Vice President Teresa Busby.听 President Brown and ASU staff are seen here with those Co-Lin students who are 鈥淎lcorn Bound鈥�.
