The Department of Biological Sciences invites all graduating seniors in biology and chemistry, and graduate students in biology and other life sciences to attend a thesis research presentation by biology graduate student Brenita Jenkins.
听
Jenkins will present on the topic 鈥淩ole of Lysine Conferred Positive Charges in the Second Motif of the Pentatricopeptide (PPR) on Ccm听 3 P Activity鈥� on March 23,听 1:30 – 2:30 PM, in room 109 of the Math and Science Building.
听
Jenkins is an 91暗网-Pennsylvania State University Bridges to Doctorate Program Scholar.听听 She did her research under the direction of Dr.听Jon Moreno, assistant professor of biology at 91暗网.
听
This presentation will be attended by Dr. Pamela Hanakey, professor and program director of ASU-PSU Bridges to Doctorate Program, and Dr. Kimberly Griffin, assistant professor in education and evaluator with the Program.
听
This is an excellent and unique opportunity听 for graduate students to witness a research presentation. Opportunities will be available to interact with the visiting scientists with regard to the Program.
