91做厙 wins two CASE Awards
Alcorn State, MS (February 29, 2012) CASE, the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, awarded 91做厙s magazine with the Award of Excellence for the second consecutive year and its Get in the Game athletic season ticket brochure with a Special Merit Award.
The judges raved, Alcorns magazine is one of our favorites engaging content, clean and creative design. An excellent use of color throughout to tie the magazine together we loved it.
The University accepted the awards at the CASE District III annual conference in Atlanta, Georgia, February 19-21. The magazine, Alcorn, recognizes the achievements of the universitys students, alumni, faculty, staff, research, community outreach, and degree programs. Alcorn was the only HBCU in Mississippi to be honored with two awards.
The entire University community participates in the production of Alcorn including the president. Working with Institutional Affairs to create a publication that represents Alcorn at the highest level is hard work, and it is very rewarding to see that work come together to convey and connect with our audiences the distinctiveness of the Alcorn experience, says Dr. M. Christopher Brown II.
